Professional Profile

I was recently asked to give a talk for North Westmeath’s Eclectic Festival Wear and Share Day with Collinstown/Fore ICA supported by Westmeath Co Council. During my talk I discussed my art and the process of painting the canvases. It was a fantastic experience to share my journey with people in the parish.Engaging with people and discussing the work really helped me gain an insight of my own about how people view my work.

After graduating from Center for Creative Arts and Media in Galway, I decided to provide workshops for young people to learn drawing and painting techniques. Students from TY and Leaving Certificate years developed and enhanced their techniques and this was useful for when they went back to school.

I have contributed to my local community by designing various crests for example; our running club crest, community games crest, and the Westmeath County Camogie Crest. I was approached and asked to be the Credit Union Art Competition Adjudicator in 2017. I have also painted the local primary school's playground providing snakes and ladders and hop scotch games for the local primary school children.

I was priviledged to be asked to be adjudicator of Credit Union Art Competition in Oldcaslte, Co. Meath.

So much talent to be seen from the next generation of artists.
